Tel turned onto his side and whispered “I love you, Star” as a loud knocking began. He gave a start, opened his eyes and yawned. The knocking stopped and shouting began. That sounded like the twins. They’d tracked him down. He grinned as they were wolves after all.
“Tel, are you in there!”
Tel got up and dragged on his dressing gown. He left the bedroom and looked down the stairs. “Come in, the doors unlocked,” he shouted down at the door he could see.
The door slowly opened and Gavin peered in. “You sure? The wizard’s not here are they?”
“Only me. Will a witch do?”

Gareth took in the space. “Hi, Tel. This is so cool. I’ve always wanted to see in here. You sure the wizard isn’t here? What’s on the top floor? Can you see the stars? Have you started breakfast yet? You can cook here, can’t you?”
“Shut up Gar. He’s just woken up.” Gavin gave him a punch in the arm.
“Don’t. That hurt.” Gareth looked up at Tel again. “Looks like he’s been shagging all night. Have you, Tel? He still here? Who is it?”
Tel shook his head. “There’s been no shagging. Just me here. The kitchen is on the right. Go put on a kettle. I’ll be down in five.”
